The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior systems administrator in cyberspace operations with responsibility to provide tactically flexible, persistent cybersecurity, and internal defensive measures for Wing's key terrain in cyberspace. Provides Commanders and system owners with decision-quality, information regarding risks and vulnerabilities.



Duties
  • Serves as a senior systems administrator in cyberspace operations.
  • Evaluates and makes determinations on Wing-level and/or system owners' cyberspace through functional mission analysis to identify risks and develop mitigation and countermeasure recommendations.
  • Reviews risk-driven inputs to seek out and defend against an active adversarial threat on Air Force systems as a senior technical advisor to management.
  • Directs the improvement and hardening the defenses of Wing-level and/or system owners' key terrain and critical assets within cyberspace.
  • Participates in discussions, meetings, committees, or special projects and presents briefings and prepares recommendations and reports.
