Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of an anticipated vacancy for a senior attorney to serve as Counsel at the Trident Refit Facility Bangor (TRF Bangor) located on Naval Base Kitsap in Bangor, Washington. Duties
  • You will manage and serve as the subject matter expert for the paralegal.
  • You will provide legal advice, assistance, and representation on the full range of civilian personnel and labor law matters.
  • You will advise on civilian personnel and labor law issues, including disciplinary actions, performance appraisals, investigations, reasonable accommodation requests, security matters, EEO matters, and Federal Employee's Compensation Act matters.
  • You will provide services on areas including litigation at the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, federal district court, and union grievance arbitrations.
  • You will be called upon to provide legal services in other OGC practice areas such as fiscal law, standards of conduct, ethics, Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act matters.
