Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality within the plant. Reporting directly to the Quality Director, this position requires a professional with prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance processes, protocols, and systems to meet regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Systems Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Continuously improve and optimize quality control processes to enhance overall efficiency.
Auditing and Compliance:
Conduct regular internal audits to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Process Improvement:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in quality assurance procedures.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve overall quality performance.
Supplier Quality Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain strong quality standards for incoming raw materials and components.
Conduct regular assessments of supplier quality performance and address any issues promptly.
Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training programs for plant personnel on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness throughout the organization.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analysis tools to monitor key quality metrics and provide regular reports to the Quality Director.
Identify trends and patterns to proactively address potential quality issues.
Customer Satisfaction:
Collaborate with the customer service and production teams to address customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Work towards enhancing overall customer satisfaction through a commitment to quality excellence.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
