Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Up to two years of experience in facilities maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience is strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators.
  • Ability to perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects related to maintenance of the property.
  • Safe and appropriate operation of all maintenance-related types of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Safe and appropriate operation of ladders, bucket truck, forklift, and safety equipment.
  • Safe use of cleaning and maintenance chemicals and equipment and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Use of two-way radio.
  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards and safety measures.
  • Must obtain and maintain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.
  • Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Read, write, and understand simple instructions and building plans in English.
  • Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
