Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to 492 Special Operations Training Support Squadron, Contract Management (DOTC).

Duties
  1. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Contract Management (DOTC) section of the 492 Special Operations Training Support Squadron (SOTRSS), ensuring that Air Force Special Operations Command Air Commando Training Support (AFSOC ACTS) complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
  2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
  3. Represents 492 SOTRSS with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
  4. Provides administrative oversight to the 492 SOTRSS/19 Special Operations Squadron (SOS) quality assurance program.
  5. Reviews and evaluates contractor training and engineering, testing and design from a professional standpoint.
