You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk's 50,000 employees.

FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. FF Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.

The PositionThe Project Manager will oversee the expansion and optimization of the Aseptic Production line, focusing specifically on high-speed, automated filling and aseptic processing technologies. This role involves managing all project phases from conceptual design through to execution, while coordinating with international teams to standardize aseptic practices. Key responsibilities include the development of detailed project plans, securing necessary approvals, and collaborating with specialized equipment suppliers. The Project Manager will ensure strict adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and project scope. Effective communication with stakeholders and robust change management are critical for this role. The position also requires a strong emphasis on maintaining aseptic integrity, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Functions

Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesResponsible for ensuring project plan accomplishes time, quality, and cost objectiveResponsible for adherence to mechanism for monitoring project progress, intervention and problem solving with other line managers or personnelResponsible for information exchangeResponsible for communications to management and other pertinent unitsAssist with any training required of personnel supporting the projectEnsure that installation, troubleshooting, qualification, and validation of equipment meets all commitments laid out by the overall projectResponsible for development and execution of projects identified as process needs and improvement opportunitiesOther accountabilities as assigned Physical Requirements May move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. May be required to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May required corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protections. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent combination of experience & education requiredAdvanced Project Management competencies obtained through relevant PM training or experience preferredMinimum 5 years of engineering experience in facility infrastructure as well as manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferredMinimum 5 years proven project / portfolio management skills with major capital projects preferredP&ID, HVAC, and Electrical systems. Understanding of complicated product documentation and standard operating procedures with attention to high-level concepts. Basic understanding of contractual documents and ability to create work plans and detailed project schedules. Computer literacy preferredProven project management experience with direct management of multiple projects simultaneously preferredProven expertise in mentoring/development, planning/organizing, managing execution, and revising the work plan for complex problems solved by cross functional teams preferredInitiative, ability to function independently preferredGood judgment in decision making as well as very good leadership skills preferredFunctions well in team environment preferred We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
