Provide support services in the operation and maintenance of an academic or research laboratory to include performing analyses; setup, operation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment; and maintaining stock of supplies. ResponsibilitiesJob Duty 1 -
Setup, operate and maintain instruments and other equipment used in performing lab tests and experiments.
Job Duty 2 -
Order supplies and materials as required; maintain records.
Job Duty 3 -
Setup laboratory media/equipment for demonstrations.
Job Duty 4 -
May clean instruments, glassware and other lab equipment.
Job Duty 5 -
Prepare and process laboratory samples for use in assigned tests.

Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:
Assist with online interviews with vocational rehabilitation (VR) counselors and clients (as schedule permits)
Assist with cleaning, coding, and analyzing interview and survey data
Compile and organize data for use in reports
Research assistive technology products to add to center resources
Develop outreach materials targeted toward a rehabilitation counseling audience
Required QualificationsEducational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience
Up to two years of job related experience
Bachelors degree in rehabilitation counseling or a related field is required.
Current enrollment in a graduate program for rehabilitation counseling or related filed is preferred.
Proposed SalaryAnticipated salary: $24/hour
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSKILLS
This job requires working knowledge in the use of instrumentation and other lab equipment, laboratory processes and procedures specific to assigned lab. Skills in inventory management and the use of specialized computer applications is required.
Preferred KSAs: The job requires skills in spoken/written communications and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task. Skill in basic office-related computer applications is required. A familiarity with assistive technology is preferred.
