Our compensation structuring will fit the experience level and is more than competitive in the market.The Incumbent for this role performs technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment.Relocation will not be offered for this role.
Responsibilities:
Performs mainly pre-defined, technical tasks (for example, basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenance jobs) and work packages on-site and remotely.Supports customer remotely and onsite, and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.Supports in generating sales leads for pre-defined service offers and contributes to planning activities.Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations.Ability to diagnose and resolve problems independently and efficientlyProvide excellent service to our customersWork in stressful, dangerous situations, and participate in the development of new field procedures and best practicesActively work on wind turbine projectsIdentify and report any and all incidents or near missesAssist Management team in documentation training, review, and new platform preparedness.
Requirements:
Candidates must have previous experience in the following:Must have minimum of 2 years wind experienceMust have major component exchange experience.Flexible travel schedule, with up to 100% travelBasic computer and iPad use skillsPhysically and mentally able to work suspended from heights and in confined spacesMust meet body weight restrictions of 265 lbs. or less as required by the equipment safety regulationsMust pass a physical administered by a medical examiner to ensure ability to safely perform the job functions and meet the physical demands of the positionMust have clean driving record and pass pre-hire drug screeningDriving is an essential function of the job and applicants must have a valid driver's license at the time of application with an acceptable driving record. Employees must maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record and may be subject to periodic DMV checks of their license.Ability to apply and obtain a Company American Express cardHigh school diploma or equivalentWork a flexible work schedule (Day shift / Night Shift)The Wind Service Travel Technician position requires 100% travel so qualified candidates must live within 50 miles of a major airport.Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States .
