San Francisco, California, United States Pallet Full time

WHO WE ARE

Pallet is a company dedicated to disrupting the logistics industry. Located in San Francisco, CA, we've secured $21 million in funding from investors, including Bain Capital Ventures and Bessemer.

Our flagship product is a Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) designed to streamline business operations. We've eliminated data entry, integrated warehouse management, automated billing processes, and more. At Pallet, we provide end-to-end logistics visibility, control, and optimization. Our TMS and WMS offer the tools to enhance logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction by enabling faster and more reliable delivery times for logistic providers.

Join us on our journey to transform the logistics industry and be a part of the future of business growth at Pallet.

This is a hybrid role. Our office is located in San Francisco (5min walk from Montgomery Bart Station).

ABOUT THE ROLE

Pallet is on a mission to revitalize tooling for freight logistics by delivering a clean, easy-to-use product that simplifies workflows so customers can spend less time wrangling with technology, and more time helping their business succeed. We need a second designer to help us solve urgent pain points for real customers on a live, growing product.

You'll be working with product managers, account managers, engineers, and customers to solve customer goals and needs, while finding opportunities to up-level existing products. You'll be calling customers, identifying user goals, transforming user goals into product solutions, effectively communicating and sharing your designs to drive decisions, and working with engineering to build solutions. You're committed to being a champion for users, and avidly seek feedback during and after any feature launch. You're comfortable with shipping on a weekly release cadence and thrive in fast-paced, scrappy environments

As the second design team member, you'll play a vital role in shaping how Pallet thinks about product design. You are someone who actively shares your design knowledge, and continuously challenges the team to continuously deliver at higher quality levels. At the end of the day, you give design a great rep because engineers and product teammates love collaborating with you for your effectiveness as a teammate, and value you deliver to the product.

Salary range for this role is 130k - 180k.

THINGS YOU'LL BE DOING

Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, customer success, and sales to prioritize building the most impactful experiences
Build, refine and advocate the design system, advocating for scalable solutions that also perfectly solve user needs
