Senior Specialist Advisor to join our team in Austin
, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Major Account Business Development Director to join our organization.

The Major Account Business Development Director is a key position in our newly formed Client Growth Office and will report directly to the Major Account Growth Leader.

Our major accounts span the industries of Financial Services & Insurance, Manufacturing & Commercial, Health Care & Life Sciences, International and Public Sector.

In this critical role, the Major Account Business Development Director will be in the market with our clients, focusing on white space accounts, identifying opportunities to generate qualified pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the market, meeting with clients and prospects to develop a Sales pipeline
  • Identifies opportunities for business expansion, develops and manages relationships in markets and accounts that further business development activity
  • Target and initiate contact with prospective clients in new or existing accounts
  • Lead the assessment and qualification of potential opportunities and competitive risks
  • Manage projects critical to the company.
Leads multiple tasks for multiple sales processes in pursuit of opportunities, which include multi-product (and generally multi-vendor) hardware, software, and services components

  • Facilitate discussions with client's and NTT DATA senior leadership on mission critical business factors by conceptualizing and articulating information and concepts
-and regularly influences in development of RFPs and RFIs

  • May lead with specialties (e.
g. Cloud, Data, Configured Platforms) to work with Major Accounts to identify opportunities/bundled solutions

  • Coordinate with Partners and Alliance company sales leaders as needed to jointly pursue work together
  • Need to possess domain, technical or process authority at a company or be seen as Subject Matter Expert in an industry domain
  • Utilize exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to conduct analysis and make strategic recommendations
  • Location may be based anywhere in the U.
S.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of experience in a large SI, Professional Services and/or Management Consulting firm, with at least
-3+ years in a new business development/sales role responsible for generating new revenues

  • Experience in generating qualified new business pipeline performance of $40M/year, with strong preference of $50M/year
  • Client engagement experience to include partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders within client executive suite
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or technology or equivalent experience
  • Travel required up to 50%
  • Location may be based anywhere in the U.
S.
