The Packer Collegiate Institute seeks collaborative and creative Associate Teachers for potential opportunities in the Preschool and Lower School.
Anticipated start date: August 2024
Associate Teachers are regarded as teachers-in-training whose role grows as they gain experience and knowledge. Working closely with Head Teachers to create an inclusive and stimulating learning community for all students, Associate Teachers work within an apprenticeship model - planning and conducting small group or whole class lessons, assessing and documenting student needs, and providing supervision at recess.
Candidates should possess a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching. Associate Teachers remain at Packer for up to two years, with a possible extension to three.
