The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Senior Regional Analyst for a multi-functional team of intelligence and operations specialists.

Incumbent directs, leads, guides, and manages the intelligence analysis of project opportunities using the Military Decision-Making Process and Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operating Environment.

Salary ranges includes local market supplements

Duties

DUTY 1:

Plans, conducts, leads, manages, and guides the intelligence analysis of an analytic team to analyze requirements, identify opportunities, map vulnerabilities, and gain critical insight into complex problem sets.

DUTY 2:

Uses the Military Decision-Making Process and Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operating Environment to analyze those opportunities, identify partners, develop insight and brief senior DoD leaders.

Assists in planning, resourcing, and executing the projects, and conducting after-action reviews.

DUTY 3:

Supports the integration of intelligence and innovation, and a using a mastery of intelligence principles, concepts, and procedures, actively identifies and seeks out new analytic tools, databases, and capabilities to facilitate analysis, and makes informed recommendations on analytic software and tools for procurement and funding.

DUTY 4:

Conducts analytic planning on complex problems based off thorough understanding of the requirement and the customer.

DUTY 5:

Serves as a functional authority on ISR issues for Center leadership. Makes recommendations on operational policy matters to the Director/Commander and AF staff.
