**Duties**:
The United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is searching for a Special Access Programs Security Specialist (NH-0080-03).
Description:

- Experience leading a team
- Experience in launch operations
- Experience working most, or all, of the security disciplines mentioned in this announcement, strong written and verbal communication skills, mastery of customer service, and the ability to work with both military and civilian leadership at all levels
- At least a bachelor's degree; higher level degree such as master's preferred
- DoD professional security certifications
- Be a proactive, solution-oriented team player and good communicator with strong attention to detail

Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of a wide range of security specialties, concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices.
2. Knowledge of the intelligence enterprise to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
3. Knowledge of required security training concepts, programs, procedures, and practices to assist managers in establishing and operating internal security programs.
4. Skill in the use of analytical principles, practices, and techniques to review and evaluate security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the organization.
5. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately.
6. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- U.S. Citizenship Required
- This position is on-site and not eligible for telework or remote work.
- PCS funding is not available.

- Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret w/SCI clearance.
- This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- May be required to work flexible hours and/or overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position.
