Job Description

Oracle is seeking a Strategic Partner Product Manager reporting to the Sr. Director Strategic Partnerships. As a Principal Product Manager on the Strategic Partnership team, you will be driving one or more partnerships, operationalizing our joint partner strategy, and growing revenue with our joint solutions. This role will be the business owner and primary contact for partnerships between Oracle and named global solution providers. You will work with teams all across Oracle to design and implement the partner strategy, identify areas of opportunity, and advocate for the joint partnership. You should be passionate about working in a fast-paced environment where you make sense of ambiguity, collaborate globally to solve problems, and deliver solutions that make customers happy. You should possess a deep understanding of the global cloud market, customer migration and development methods, and have experience building plans to meet strategic business objectives. A strong technical background is required to work closely between engineering, the business, and sales to translate the partnership into action.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in this area of specialization. Expect to contribute individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. This role requires partner management expertise, product management expertise, leadership skills, business analysis, and strong business judgment. The strategic partnership team is constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We focus on partners and solutions that drive customer success while exponentially scaling the business.

Responsibilities

We are specifically looking for an experienced and customer-centric product partner manager to join the team that will be responsible for:

  • Playing a key role in influencing the strategy and execution of key initiatives of Oracle
  • Be the conduit between partners, engineering, sales, operations, and the customer
  • Driving alignment on partner success, business metrics, and business strategies and communicating to Oracle leadership on a regular
  • Thought leadership and executive direction in establishing and developing processes and methodologies to meet and execute product strategy
  • Work directly with key partners to understand their products and business models and devise creative solutions that deliver customer value
  • Driving rapid customer and partner adoption by working directly with customers, account teams, and engineering teams to anticipate customer needs
  • Working closely with engineering teams translating business requirements into technical requirements to help shape the future roadmap of OCI services
  • Presenting solutions to customers and partners at multiple levels, from engineers up to CxO. Explaining transformational concepts to executive decision makers and influencing their technology strategy
  • Go-To-Market activities, including product positioning, collecting customer references and stories, evangelize the partner and products both internally and externally
  • Assisting in the development of short, medium, and long term strategy to achieve objectives for exponential customer and partner adoption on the cloud platform

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in an IT platform environment working with large Enterprises
  • Deep understanding of cloud competitive landscape, customer priorities and challenge
  • Strong technical acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and speaking skills
  • Data-driven executive with broad business background with experience leading product launches, partner integrations, and defining operational processes
  • Customer-centric, customer-facing, and problem-solving experience at an enterprise-scale cloud services company
  • Can excel and deliver results under pressure

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
