Look no further We have an excellent full-time Psychiatric Nursing Assistant contract available at a reputable psychiatric hospital in Kerrville, TX

Position: Full-Time Psychiatric Nursing Assistant Contract

Location: Kerrville, TX

Shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm; 2:30 pm - 11:00pm; 10:30 pm – 7:00am

Includes weekend rotation and 30-minute, unpaid meal break on each shift

Hours: 40 hours/week

Length: 26 or 52 weeks, with option to extend

Start: 1st and 16th of each month

Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living to individuals with mental illness, mental retardation, chemical dependency, social and/or physical disorders who are inpatient in the Mental Health UnitsMonitor, document, and report any health changes to LPN or RNEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and proceduresEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures Requirements: Experience in direct patient care and 1 year continuous work history with same employer preferredExperience in psych or behavioral health preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesMust be available M-F 8-5 for a few weeks for orientationMust pass a 10-panel drug screening prior to startMust pass FBI-level background check. No previous felonies or misdemeanorsMust report to facility prior to start date for fingerprints and drug testingValid TX Driver's license.
