Ensure that engineering work conforms to high technical and company standards and meets or exceeds all contract requirements.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and recommend innovative solutions, applications, and/or design approaches required for meeting test objectives that may be complex and difficult in scope.

  • Utilize specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, Fourier-Transform Infrared Radiometers (FTIR), photo-thermal common-path interferometers (PCI), or scatterometers to measure optical properties of materials of interest.
  • Compile and prepare necessary data and documentation (e.g., briefings, test plans, and reports) to support technical meetings and end-item product delivery.
  • Present technical information to program managers and customers as required.
  • May lead disciplinary teams in the set-up, execution, and documentation of laboratory and field test efforts. May also be responsible for tracking associated performance against costs, budgets, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) from various disciplines to collect and analyze data in support of modeling and simulation (M&S) software development and performance assessment of aerospace systems.
  • Promote the development of a strong team by participation in key aspects projects and mentoring more junior team members.
  • May work with classified documents which requires thorough knowledge of DoD procedures for the proper usage and safeguarding of classified information.
