Clinic Assistant- Urgent Care

As a clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.
The clinic assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.
All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.

Work Schedule:

  • .5 FTE/20 hours per week. Day shifts (one early morning and one later evening shift) with an occasional weekend morning.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (current certification as a MA preferred), current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin, or graduate of an accredited EMT program.
  • Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in EPIC computer system
