Summary

You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLER INSPECTOR SUPERVISOR II in the Ordnance Division for the Navy Munitions Command (NMC) of NMCLANT DET EARLE NJ.



Duties
  • You will control movement of trains, railcars, trucks, and forklifts to support operations.
  • You will be second line supervisor of multi-skilled work groups/ Accountability Control Teams ACTs, who perform a wide range of activities.
  • You will be involved in receiving, storing, segregating, issuing, handling, selecting, prepping, blocking/ bracing, inventorying and shipping ordnance materials ammunition, explosives, chemical munitions, fuels, missiles, associated components
  • You will use supervisory skills, maintaining personnel practices, planning for and directing a subordinate workforce, effectively coordinating work efforts with other functional areas, and interpreting complex written instructions.
  • You will compile and complete required reports and evaluations as well as interpret complex written technical publications in all responsible functional areas.
