Are you passionate about dogs and have a flair for customer service? Grooming Arts Northwest, Portland's premier luxury dog grooming salon, is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Receptionist.

Receptionist

Location:
Grooming Arts Northwest, Portland

Job Description:

Role:
Full-time position M-F 9-5

Starting Pay:
$18+ per hour DOE

Immediate Availability:
The position is available immediately to the right candidate

Trial Period: 90 days with some training provided

Responsibilities:
Greet and check in/out dogs and their owners

Handle payments and scheduling efficiently

Assist in the general operation of the salon

General cleaning of the salon, including occasional handling of animal waste, laundry, cleaning tubs

Bonus (but not required): possibly assisting groomers occasionally (e.g., comforting or petting dogs during nail trims)

Some basic training will be provided

Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of dog breeds

Experience working with pets and their owners

Knowledge of dog body language and basic training principles (preferred but not required)
