This role involves handling Electrical and Mechanical tasks related to automated packaging and distribution equipment. The responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting automated conveyor systems
  • Leading and reviewing preventative electrical/mechanical maintenance processes
  • Diagnosing and maintaining PLC Control issues (Allen Bradley)
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various control components
  • Utilizing blueprints and schematics for maintenance work
  • Collaborating with colleagues at all levels

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
  • 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment
  • 2+ years of experience in predictive and preventative maintenance
  • 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication
  • 1+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics
  • 1+ year of knowledge in electrical and electronic principles
  • Procedure-based maintenance experience
  • Ability to interpret statistical equipment metrics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field
  • 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical field
  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment safety standards
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Knowledge of computer networking systems
  • Experience with robotic or electromechanical maintenance
  • Basic ability to troubleshoot logical devices and use Linux command line interface

Compensation: $29.17 per hour, plus $1/hr night differential
