This Patient Mobility Technician/C.N.A. opportunity is full time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. This dynamic individual will be responsible for provision and administration of specific mobility therapy treatments. The patient mobility tech assists with transferring patients using gait belt, utilizing lifts and using bed alarms. Documenting ambulation distance, assistance level, time in chair and safety precautions. The patient mobility tech participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training and organizational safety programs.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing specific treatment only as directed by the nursing staff.
  • Communicates any changes in condition (physical or mental) to staff physical therapist, nursing and other hospital personnel, as appropriate.
  • Ability to obtain vital signs with direction and oversight of RN
  • Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families.

Current C.N.A. license required

Current BLS certification required.

Prefer one year experience in an acute care/behavioral health setting
