The Program Coordinator provides administrative support to the department through travel and reimbursement requests, purchasing, and updating and maintaining the departmental website. This position will work closely with faculty and guests to process travel and reimbursement requests that are in adherence to BU and federal policy. The position is also responsible for the purchasing needs of faculty and staff and will see the process through from initial request to delivery/closeout. This includes working internally and externally to register vendors, troubleshoot issues and maintain up-to-date records. Additionally, they will work in tandem with IS&T and the Physics Website Committee in updating and maintaining the department website, as well as all other digital signage and print media announcements.

Strong attention-to-detail and well-organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Database, website management experience or WordPress experience preferred
