The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for a full time 11 month Administrative Assistant 3 Data Specialist for Richfield Senior High.

Responsibilities (read attached job description for full details):
  • To set general parameters for the annual on-line student registration process including course titles / numbers / sections / prerequisites / sequencing to and provide sufficient staff trainings to help ensure an accurate, timely process that results in students being registered for valid course offerings.
  • Assist administration in setting general parameters for the master schedule each semester based on registration information that includes identification of which courses to offer, course instructors, appropriate class sizes, and when courses are to be offered, thereafter conferring with the Principal and faculty with the goal of a balanced schedule into which each student can be fully and successfully placed.
  • To set or reset general system parameters for the student information system program to ensure the accurate, timely saving, securing, recording and reporting of student records and also assumes responsibility for the assignment of staff and parent passwords for authorized access to student records.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or its GED equivalent
  2. A minimum of two years post high school education and one-year experience, five years related experience or a combination of the two.
  3. Ongoing training in the types of computer programs and electronic database / spreadsheet applications that are required to perform all aspects of this position.
  4. Proficiency in applying and communicating to others the skills, knowledge and abilities required to perform all aspects of this position in a fully satisfactory manner.
  5. Spanish language proficiency preferred
