Summary: The Finance Coordinator supports the CFO in all facets of finance management for the organization. This position provides accounting support which includes, but is not limited to, daily deposits, keeping shared calendars, benefits, bank/credit card reconciliation, onboarding, contracts, and assistance with projects. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Processes daily deposits from Webpoint
  • Reconciles monthly bank statements and bi-monthly credit cards
  • Maintains Partnership/Sponsorship/Grant Contracts
  • Shorts Travel– entry for high performance, Events & Administration on the first of month
  • Verifies Insurance Invoices on the first of month
  • Benefits Administrator – enroll/terminate employees into all portals and ensures accuracy in benefits deposits and other financials
  • Assist CFO with Audit and compliance, annual budget, high performance budget/classes, and grant revenue tracking
  • Research, track and resolve any issues related to financial recordkeeping
  • Maintains local Boxing Club (Round-up) financial Compliance
  • Troubleshoots and resolves Webpoint Merchant Disputes
  • Responsible for off-site bank deposits
  • Maintains spreadsheet from Label Sales invoices and sponsorship checks
  • Assists with office file management and maintains contract files (hard and electronic copies). Maintains events and high performance financial files

QualificationsEducation
  • Minimum: High school diploma required
  • College degree highly preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 - 5 years of previous accounting experience/administrative experience required; additional experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Skills and Competencies Required
  • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, MS Teams, and Internet
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Advanced Excel Skills (pivots, lookups)
  • Excellent customer service skills to include strong written and verbal communication as well as phone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proofreading skills
  • Proper English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Ability to compose business correspondence
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment: multi-line telephone, fax, scanner


Position type: Non-exempt, Regular, Full-Time (40 hours per week) Benefits-eligibleReports to: Director of FinanceSupervisory Role: NoneWage: $24.04 – 25.48 per hourWorking conditions: Office building with cubicles Typical schedule M – F; 8:00am – 5:00pm; Flexible as needed
