Job Title: IT Risk ManagerCompany: Great Southern BankGeneral Description

The IT Risk Manager oversees the daily operations of the IT Risk Management Department, ensuring compliance with federal and state banking laws, focusing on the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). They manage the IT Risk Management program, including the Business Continuity Plan, IT Risk Assessment, Incident Response, Third Party Risk, and Security Awareness Training programs. They keep the Managing Director of Information Security informed about their responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and manages various IT Risk functions such as Business Continuity Planning, IT Risk Assessment, Incident Response, Third Party Risk Management, and Security Awareness Training programs.
  • Delegates daily operations through subordinate staff, develops and implements policies, procedures, and programs as needed.
  • Evaluates subordinate staff performance, develops their skills, and oversees selection, placement, and salary administration.
  • Ensures the Bank's information security program complies with standards and regulations, providing expertise and support.
  • Assists with cybersecurity compliance functions and maintains awareness of security and privacy legislation.
  • Ensures compliance with security and risk management policies and guidelines.
  • Maintains attendance, punctuality, and communication standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of additional related experience and/or training plus 1-2 years of management experience.
  • Experience with desktop/laptop computers, operating systems, and specialized software.
  • Proficiency in alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Processing.
  • Basic experience with 10-key, accounting, and programming languages.
  • Mathematical abilities and graph interpretation skills.
License and Certification Requirements
  • Professional security certification related to Information Security is mandatory (ex. CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP).
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel occasionally for conferences or training.
Physical Requirements
  • Includes semi-repetitive and low physical activities.
  • Requires periods of concentration for varying time cycles.
  • Common activities include sitting, talking, using hands, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
