JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Performs and documents various clinical tests and assessments
  • Provides patient-centric care and support to healthcare providers
  • Adheres to policies, regulations, and best practices for patient safety
  • Participates in educational courses and clinical research
  • Ensures equipment calibration and proper working order
  • Trains and supports clinical staff
  • Facilitates motility exams and imaging procedures
  • Performs IVI prep and supports Virtual Care encounters
  • Acts as a lead technician providing oversight to clinical teams

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent

Required Certification and Licensing:
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)

Experience:
2 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skill, and Attitudes:
  • Works well with patients of all age groups
  • Communicates effectively and professionally
  • Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Shows proficiency in ocular anatomy and EMR platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
