Serves as member of the software developer team for a key Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise System, Defense Departmental Reporting System (DDRS).

Assists in development and design of operating system architecture and capabilities, configuration alternatives, data file management, system utility capabilities, standards and procedures, configuration management, and capacity planning.

Designs modifications to internal program structures in files and records and determines detailed sequence of steps and program logic.

Works with functional analysts to identify system change requirements in order to develop new functions/capabilities to meet mission objectives
Uses advanced testing techniques to diagnose and correct errors in coding logic.
Uses PL/SQL to create, modify and maintain web-based software solutions. Experience with APEX, Java, JavaScript, and/or UNIX scripting is a plus.
Works in an agile software development environment, using cutting-edge automated unit testing.
Reviews production operation to identify, diagnose, and correct production-processing problems.
