About the roleWe are seeking a skilled C+ Firmware Engineer experienced with Linux to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of programming experience and a strong background in Linux, C, and C+. The role will involve working on software for state-of-the-art RF communications networks, focusing on firmware development and deployment. Good communication skills are essential for collaboration within the team. The position requires the
ability to work in the office 2-3 days a week and be within driving distance of Camarillo.
Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware for RF communications networks using C+ on Linux platforms.
- Update and maintain existing firmware to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement software solutions.
- Meet project goals while adhering to cost and timeline constraints.
- Document code and development processes for future reference.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of programming experience with a focus on firmware development.
- Proficiency in C+ programming language.
- Experience with the Linux operating system.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Driving distance from Camarillo.
- Willingness to work in the office 2-3 days a week.
