Lincoln Group Industrial Services has partnered with an exceptional client in the Biopharma industry that is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team on a direct-hire basis
Type of Hire: Direct Hire
Software: MS Office Suite and CAD Software
Reports to: Director of Operations/Plant Manager
Location: On-Site in Camarillo
Compensation: $85K - $92K, plus benefits, 401K, and PTO.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Develop and implement the necessary policies, standards, and procedures to manage and enhance the engineering and drawing/BoM building processes.
Support operations, research, and development teams in providing solutions to manufacturing and product development challenges.
Maintain knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, software, and best practices and apply this knowledge to continually improve the velocity and accuracy of the manufacturing, CAD, and BoM teams.
Define and execute corrective action plans to resolve issues related to quality, production, equipment, tooling, production controls, and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance and health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
Report on and optimize performance metrics.
Collaborate with other departments to set and assess priorities across teams to support the sales and manufacturing industrial processes.
Work with all stakeholders to drive standardization of products and solutions, to maximize the ability to substitute third-party components with in-house alternatives.
Ensure specified components meet all technical specifications and quality criteria, including sterilization.
Manage the progress of product testing and provide guidance on troubleshooting with prototypes.
Set project budgets and timelines for completion.
May provide guidance and oversight in the development and execution of plant renovations and expansion, and coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
Interview, hire, train, and mentor Engineering staff.
Provide timely and constructive performance feedback, corrective actions, and performance evaluations.
Coordinates with Human Resources to address employee disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in engineering or industrial management required, masters degree preferred.
Thorough understanding of plant engineering and applied math and physics
Proficient with MS Office and CAD software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and delegate.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, time management, supervisory, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Six Sigma knowledge and skills with certification, preferred.
Hands-on experience with Project Management, PMP certification is a plus.
Hands-on experience with the Stage-Gate process for new product development/introduction.
