HubSpot is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for our Product Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This position will support core financial planning & analysis deliverables as well as analyzing and forecasting key customer behaviors that impact gross margin. This role will work very closely with cross-functional teams including Finance leadership, Engineering, Product, Strategic Partnerships & various other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, including enhancing financial and operational models to drive high financial predictability and accuracy.
  • Drive business case modeling and insights for key business partners across myriad strategic cross-functional areas.
  • Understand and synthesize key data from our business; package and present insightful analyses and recommendations to key stakeholders (often Director+) to facilitate decision making.
  • Closely partner with Engineering, Product Operations, Product Management and other cross-functional teams to provide analytical support related to margin trends and variance reporting.
  • Contribute to our team's vision and establish priorities, key milestones and strive to ensure successful execution of our collective team and business goals.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a similar analytical field. Technology, SaaS and/or cloud infrastructure industry experience preferred.
  • Strong business consulting, strategic, analytical and organizational skills.
  • A self-starter, driven by the endless curiosity to identify and solve problems for our business partners.
  • Have exceptional communication skills and an ability to synthesize succinct key takeaways and tell stories with data.
  • Proactive relationship builder to break down silos and drive clear alignment and best practices; while promoting an environment where teams collaborate to grow together.
  • Highly proficient in Excel. Experience with Looker or other data visualization/BI tools, Nets
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of HubSpot's financial priorities and business's requests.
  • Someone who can foster an inclusive team environment of trust and psychological safety, welcome different perspectives and build a sense of belonging.

Cash compensation range: USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
