Summary

This position is located in the Southeast District Office. The Management Analyst is responsible for conducting evaluative studies and serving as a consultant to the District Director.

Position is out-based at one of the following: Atlanta, Columbia, Huntington, Jackson, Little Rock, Louisville, Montgomery, Nashville, New Orleans, Roanoke, San Juan, St. Petersburg, Winston-Salem Regional Office. Employees must be within commuting distance of one of the stations within the Southeast District.
Duties

Conducts continuing and periodic studies involving compilation and analysis of data for purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of the District Office and District Regional Office (RO) operations, identifying area requiring improvement, and recommending procedures or methods for more efficient operations and production.


Conducts management audits, surveys, and systematic reviews of operations in order to insure that established policies, practices and procedures are effectively implemented.


Prepares graphs, charts and other audio-visual displays depicting program information and statistics for use in training, management briefings, and information dissemination activities both within and outside of District.


Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates repots and statistics in order to advise on trends, out of line situations, and anticipated needs.

Controls, coordinates, analyzes, validates, and participates in the preparation of District Systematic Analysis of Operations (SAOs).

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates reports and statistics in order to advise on trends, out-of-line situations, and anticipated needs.

Provides written reports of all findings including recommendations, as required by District Management or as otherwise directed.

Performs work involving the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of the District.

Reviews documents, repots, and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies, and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.

Prepares annual phased plan to show project monthly expenditures and reimbursables. Compares current estimates with ongoing expenditures on a continuing basis.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
