The Staff Software Verification Engineer is responsible for enhancing the development of next generation product software unification on Windows based application support and contribute towards the strategic planning and execution of product software verification.

This position is part of the Product Software Verification Team and will be located in Sunnyvale - Hybrid. Relocation is required and relocation assistance might be provided. At Product SW Verification, our vision is to deliver high quality software to our end users and ensure customers that our organization provides the most innovative, reliable, and scalable products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in Software core teams as a technical lead to provide guidance on design control deliverables. Responsible and accountable for driving the quality of assigned software releases.
  • Define design verification strategies and perform verification execution activities.
  • Collaborate with project core team to engage internal and external users during design verification activities.
  • Collaborate with the project core team to identify design and security risks through a formal risk assessment per SOPs.
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to develop a package for software 510(k) and PMA submissions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's or Master ́s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related engineering field plus 8 or more years of technical experience in software testing.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, algorithm testing, and database testing.
  • Professional experience with Agile methodologies and at least 2+ years of applying it to provide technical and project management guidance to team of 3-5 globally distributed test engineers.
  • Experience in automation testing preferably Selenium.
  • Proficiency and working knowledge in Design controls, IEC-62304, Cybersecurity, ISO-14971 and ISO-13485 regulations.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working knowledge in QSR, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO-13485 and security related regulations.
  • Proven history of working with complex projects in multiple release cycles.
  • 3+ years' experience in testing web applications and/or data analytics application.
