About Us:
Blended Clothing is part of Chung Woo Corporation a
30-year-old fashion conglomerate that has a global footprint with over 400 employees in six countries.
We are experts in Product Development for the elevated missy customer with a primary focus on cut and sew knits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for artwork through all stages of a complex development and production process.
Communicate with designers, pattern makers, factory, and mills to reflect customers' requirements while being appropriately suited to the parameters of oversees mills.
Create engineered placement prints from existing artwork to fit pattern pieces.Prepare pitch sheets and art files to send to mills.
Review artwork that is downloaded from the customer to ensure it is printable and provide suggestions to ensure the best outcome of the print.
Work with the pattern makers to ensure engineered layouts are in the correct repeat size.Review strike offs for size scale and technique
Qualifications
Position requires high level skills in design and composition.
Must have intermediate to advanced skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Must be able to use Excel to organize and maintain a large digital library of prints and color swatches.
Must be able to organize and respond to a high volume of email directives, instructions, and commentary.
Impeccable attention to detail is a must.
Knowledge of various fabric printing methods.
Able to handle heavy daily workload and to reprioritize/pivot priorities when needed.
Education/Experience:
5 years' experience in similar role
