We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Textile Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • assist with print presentation boards – either manual or on Illustrator
  • create Illustrator boards to show store accounts as needed
  • assist Director with fabric sourcing and order all s/y for factories or NY sample room
  • cut references of all fabrics received for the trend boards and our records• Generation of detailed labelling and packing details
  • Interfacing with design to ensure color match
  • Accurate proof reading of trim details
  • Timely updating of the PDM data base
  • Work closely with Director and CAD team on print development, recoloring, pitching colorways etc
  • request all FDS sheets and file digitally as well as in the seasonal binders
  • create seasonal fabric binders for brands once fabrics are finalized
  • create excel fabric chart with all fabric details and colors ordered for tracking
  • follow up on all s/y ordered to ensure timely delivery
  • maintain fabric library and sample room fabrics
  • Misc organization, filing of fabrics, prints and color standards as needed
  • Complete all the above in an accurate, timely manner and adhering to target completion dates
  • Following up with appliance to ensure on time production
  • Maintain trim library

  • Must be able to organize and prioritize own workload
  • Must possess good computer skills


Salary Range: Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
