Description:

  • Full-Time 9a-5p
  • Reporting to the Director of Dialysis
  • The Dialysis HUC will support the department by retrieve faxes from external Physicians on patients, ordering office supplies and interfacing with supply chain for clinical supplies in PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe, orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, performing clerical and other support services as directed, andproviding assistance in select and limited clinical activities.
  • Entering patient charges in EPIC, entering labs into the system, end of month billing, maintaining departmental files, scheduling patients, greeting patients, answering multi-line phone system.
  • Works closely with RN's to provide care to Labor & Delivery patient
  • Responsible for cardiovascular status by maintaining thermoregulation of patient.

What you will need:

Required:

  • Previous experience as a unit secretary, administrative assistant, Health Unit Coordinator
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal, written) and fluency in the English language.
