3. In applying for a Police Officer position with NGA, the applicant consents to and authorizes NGA to perform a preliminary criminal and driving record background check via the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), National Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (NLETS), and Law Enforcement Defense Data Exchange (D-DEx) to determine employee eligibility.

5. Applicants are required to take and pass an initial Physical Ability Test (PAT) and medical physical examination conducted by the NGA Medical Unit. Also, applicants must take and pass the written entrance exam, polygraph examination, drug test, and receive a favorable security clearance adjudication before hire.
