This full-time, faculty position reports to the Academic Support Coordinator and provides academic support for students in grades 9 through 12.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with students, parents, and tutors to ensure quality academic support of students as needed;
  • Creating student support plans and work with faculty to implement student support plans;
  • Collaborating with psychologists, school districts, tutors and specialists to gather information on student learning profiles;
  • Overseeing and implementing accommodations process with College Board, ERB, and other organizations;
  • Serving as a member of the school's Wellness Team, attending regular meetings and helping to move the goals of Wellness forward on campus;
  • Teaching classes related to Study Skills or English Language Skills, as part of our Foundations curriculum to be determined.
  • Teaching classes in the English department to be determined. Ideal candidates will possess demonstrated background working in academic support, experience with High School students, expertise implementing accommodations; strong written and oral communication skills, exemplary time management skills, and the ability to establish positive relationships with students and to collaborate with colleagues and families.
