Position Specific Description

Employees in this role perform advanced technical tasks in support of the renewable operations team for restoration of renewable energy assets to support the operational mission

  • Performs advanced operator functions and technical tasks with minimal direction to support the operational mission
  • Develops, updates, and implements procedures that ensure safe, reliable, and cost effective operations.
  • Applies acquired knowledge of computer software to assist in taking appropriate action to restore equipment
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Job Overview

This job is a position offering experience with career-related activities encountered in a student's area of specialization. This position will provide mentoring and practical hands-on experience to assist the intern with achieving deliverables related to FPL assets. To be considered for this position the applicant must be actively enrolled full-time in a minimum of a two-year electrical, mechanical, technical, or renewable energy degree (or equivalent) program at a college with a minimum GPA of 3.00.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs monitoring and diagnostics for the FPL clean energy centers
  • Assists team with ensuring safe, reliable operations of the clean energy fleet
  • Follows appropriate company safety and environmental policies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Valid Driver's License (NON-CDL)
