Surveyor Party Chief needed to supervise two and three men crews.
Must have knowledge in Total Station, GPS, data collectors, and associated software.
Experience in construction stake-out, project controls, and project as-built procedures necessary.
At least three years experience as party chief.
Licensed Land Surveyor and knowledge of AutoCAD and Carlson software a plus.
Salary dependent on experience.

Job Type:

Predominantly based in the Atlanta, GA area.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

Review and interpret contract drawings, survey requests, and schedules to properly provide the most effective and efficient survey layout (computational and operational) to production operations.

Supervise and manage a survey crew responsible for providing construction surveying layout to field production operations performed with the highest regard for safety.

Provide construction survey control and guidance to all of field production operations through the implementation of proper survey procedures, related quality control checks, and efficient and consistent field reports.

Interact professionally with client representative(s).
Provide detailed and organized survey information derived from as-built of existing field conditions, and quantity verifications.
Maintain survey equipment (calibration, maintenance, and security) and vehicle service requirements.
Make arrangements for repairs as required.
Experience/

Qualifications:

Survey Crew Chief:

3 years (preferred) Surveying:
5 years (required) Valid driver's license and able to pass a drug screening.
Experience with Trimble and Topcon equipment is preferred.
Strong computer and technical skills.
Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal).
Ability to work in all weather climates.
Ability to walk long distances through a variety of terrains with survey equipment.
