White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire a Therapy Technician/CNA for our Inpatient Rehabilitation Department, who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Therapy Technician, you will:

•Assist staff with patient treatment plans under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.

•Transport patients to/from scheduled activities (teams, therapy, dining).

•Prepare and clean up therapy gym, space, and equipment before and after therapy sessions.

•Communicate schedule changes to patients and families.

•Order patient durable medical equipment for discharge.

•Inventory of supplies and document. Build and disseminate wheelchair, cushion, and accessories; perform wheelchair repair.

•Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

•High School diploma or GED required

•Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Maryland required

•Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

•Basic computer skills/proficiency with Word and Excel required

•Good verbal and written communication skills

•Previous experience in a therapy/rehab setting or healthcare setting preferred

•Enthusiastic, driven individual; works well in team environment; self-motivated preferred

Work Schedule:

Minimum per diem requirement is 2 weekend shifts per month or 5 weekday shifts per month, plus two holidays a year (including a winter holiday). Weekend availability is a plus.

("Nicotine products" include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, hookah, and nicotine replacement products (e.g., nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lozenges, etc.).
