About the role

We're seeking a creative and highly organized Influencer Marketing Manager to join our team to help our consumer-facing efforts. As Influencer Marketing Manager, you'll execute our influencer marketing strategy by identifying, recruiting, negotiating with and managing creators to generate high-performing content and meet campaign objectives. This is a collaborative position that also requires a high degree of independent work due to the nature of our small team. The Influencer Marketing Manager will report to the Influencer Marketing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Execute our influencer marketing strategy by identifying, vetting, and recruiting influencers and content creators aligned with our brand values, target audience, and campaign objectives.
  • Negotiate partnership terms, contracts, and compensation with influencers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that maximize campaign impact and ROI.
  • Coordinate and manage influencer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for communication, collaboration, and support throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive creative briefs to influencers, outlining campaign objectives, messaging guidelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure alignment and consistency with brand standards.
  • Review and approve influencer-generated content, providing feedback and guidance as needed to ensure quality, authenticity, and compliance with campaign requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports and insights to evaluate effectiveness, optimize strategies, and inform future initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, content, design, and legal, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of influencer initiatives with broader marketing efforts and company objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms in influencer marketing, leveraging insights to innovate and evolve strategies to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on new opportunities.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of 3-5 years in influencer marketing roles, with experience in managing influencer campaigns within the B2C sector, preferably in the fashion or tech industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers, negotiate partnership terms, and effectively communicate campaign objectives and requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data insights, track campaign performance metrics, and generate actionable insights to optimize strategies and drive results.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for identifying and leveraging innovative influencer marketing opportunities, content trends, and platform capabilities to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and brand consistency, ensuring influencer-generated content aligns with brand standards, messaging guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic startup environment and working independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
