Responsibilities:
Surgical Technician II plays a crucial role in patient care, assisting in surgical patient preparation, performing scrub duties, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of supplies and equipment for specific specialties. Additionally, they take on advanced responsibilities such as preceptorship, service specialization, and serving as an instrument room liaison.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) is mandatory
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience
Note:
This position requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification after employment. This ongoing certification must be obtained internally at the facility.

Pay Range:
$25.77 per hour
