What you'll do:

  • Extract, structure and analyze data to construct the foundation of a cancer genomics database in an effort to improve matching patients to clinical trials
  • Work with multiple data sources, including EMR databases, to extract relevant information
  • Read and understand clinical trial protocols and be able to identify high-fidelity patient matches
  • Understand, analyze, and query various data sources to identify patients
  • Consistently evaluate and improve the trial-matching processes including documentation and the organization of documents and templates
  • Maintain highest quality standard through rigorous QA process to identify and correct mistakes and inconsistencies in abstracted data
  • Create dashboards using data visualization tools to improve and streamline reporting

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical or healthcare related field
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • SQL Proficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Excel
  • Experience with Looker or other data visualization tools
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to work in an agile and expanding team environment

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with EMRs
