Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Coordinator III, Procurement Training position maintains the accuracy of procurement and purchasing training information for all Lone Star College staff at all levels. This position is responsible for system-wide training and development of all procurement and purchasing training materials, utilizing various delivery formats and technologies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Utilizes education, knowledge, and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts to perform training for new and current LSC employees at all levels Designs, develops, and tests training materials for workshops, in compliance with federal, state, and LSC standards using various technology platforms for internal use Maintains up-to-date knowledge of learning and training technologies and best practices Serves as a system office/campus contact for procurement training and development Coordinates training of Procurement and Purchasing staff and other relevant colleagues through workshops and webinars related to requirements Attains extensive knowledge of customer service for training purposes Assists with evaluation of ongoing client implementation training needs Develops, tracks and reports key implementation progress metrics Analyzes and resolves implementation issues in a timely manner Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Salary

Hiring salary range is $48, $55,

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
