Role and Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

Guarantees and certified the user experience funnel for Samsung's Ecommerce orders in US region
Work with product managers, developers and other SDETs/QAs for new page and product launches
Responsible for writing automated tests for customer purchase journey in site and Shop Samsung mobile app
Responsible for creating test strategy and scenarios for the new feature launches
Test the features for functionality, user experience and page load performance
Report, triage and retest bugs on purchase funnel
Create robust and repeatable automation tests that runs on CI/CD Pipelines
Create automated test reporting and enable manual to automation tests
Background & Competencies Required:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent)
6+ Years' experience in SDET/QA Functions
Background in Ecommerce workflows and backend API testing
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Proven track record test metrics generation for web applications and services layer
Experience in coding in one or more languages – Javascript, Typescript or Python
Understanding of automation tests with stub and mocked data from integrated systems
Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases and SQL
Strives to implement Agile Testing Quadrants
Experience in test automation and strategy design over distributed systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in NYC/California, is expected to be between $148,000 and $170,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
