Soliant is working with a school near Camden, NC and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for this school year. Applicants will be working either with elementary or high school students.

Perks of working with a school:

Shorter work day: hours vary from 7:30 AM to 3 PM, or 8 AM to 3:30 PM Get away from the 9 to 5, or 10 to 6 scheduleShorter work year: a full school year is 180 to 185 days-switch to part-time work in the summer, or no work at allFlat rate billing structure for each work day: you are guaranteed your contracted hours if it is a full work day-freedom from the instability of client no-shows This is a small school system, located right on the coast of the Albemarle sound. Scope of duties: Under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist, provide direct therapy to elementary or high school students.Document student progress and provide administrative support to Speech PathologistsSLPAs may also be called upon to provide classroom support, or to facilitate the provision of online speech services We seek candidates who: Have some experience with speech therapy in a school settingAre flexible and adaptableProfessional and accountableBring excellent communication skills Requirements: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications DisordersBe eligible to register as an SLPA, under the supervision of a District or Agency appointed Speech-Language Pathologist Interested?
