JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, SIOP Transformation Demand works within the dedicated SIOP Transformation Team to lead the portfolio and demand portion of the enterprise's SIOP transformation roadmap. This role will partner with Transformation Team members, as well as the necessary business unit functional teams & project teams, to deliver the appropriate SIOP solution. This role will be responsible for ensuring the portfolio and demand components of the SIOP roadmap are developed and executed across process, people, technology, policies and metrics.

As it relates to the portfolio and demand areas within the SIOP transformation, this person will help drive the process design, process governance and decision-making, technology implementation (Blue Yonder Demand, Inventory Optimization, etc), technology enablement, and change management to deliver a best-in-class SIOP for Polaris' Global Business Units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transformation Roadmap Design & Development
  • Compare the current state and gaps with industry leading practices and work with the transformation team and project team to define the necessary business unit transformation for creation or refinement of portfolio and demand planning best practices.
  • Apply the future cadence and calendar of the SIOP Portfolio and Demand process steps, including key inputs and outputs, meetings and attendees, critical decisions and decision owners.
  • Recommend the needed organizational changes and transition plan to execute the SIOP process steps, including clear roles and responsibilities, information needed, decision rights, necessary tools and KPIs.
  • Develop critical project milestones and metrics that will reflect progress against the roadmap.
  • Ensure the future state SIOP design for operations and supply chain aligns properly with the business unit and corporate operating cadence (LRP, LRPP, budgeting, forecasting, etc.) and recommend changes as needed.


Transformation Roadmap Delivery & Execution with Technology Implementation
  • Support project teams to implement the SIOP portfolio review and unconstrained demand planning, as required, across the relevant business units and in the defined order.
  • Coordination of technology (BY Demand, ESP and IO) implementation to provide increased insight and efficiencies of portfolio and unconstrained demand plan.
  • Work with the Director, SIOP Transformation and functional leads to support project teams to measure and realize project and program value related to portfolio management and demand planning.
  • Ensure demand integration across the organization between process, people, systems, policies and metrics.
  • Review and support the Program Manager and Transformation Team Lead with all portfolio and demand process change requests.
  • Identify significant SIOP demand, technology project and implementation risks and escalate when needed to the Transformation Team Lead and Program Manager.


Cross-Functional Management & Leadership
  • Serve as the SIOP portfolio and demand solution point of contact to project teams, leaders, & executives.
  • Serve as the liaison between business unit teams and functional departments.
  • Regular interaction and close alignment with the existing SIOP supply and demand teams to ensure transformation success.
  • Share and proliferate portfolio and demand knowledge, templates and best practices across project teams & business units.
  • Influence key SIOP product management and demand stakeholders to drive SIOP demand projects and rollout decisions and resolutions, resulting in win-win outcomes.


Change Management
  • Support the Transformation Change Management Lead with the required training to adopt the new portfolio and demand processes, organization structure, systems, metrics, and policies.
  • Manage Technology implementation that support SIOP Process Framework
  • Support, coach, and influence SIOP demand project and implementation team teams


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
  • 5+ years relevant experience; Portfolio Management, Demand Planning, SIOP and process development
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing an effective portfolio and demand process.
  • A comprehensive understanding of SIOP, portfolio management, and demand.
  • Knowledge and experience in Blue Yonder Planning Suite (Demand, ESP, IO, etc), MRP and/or ERP systems, and advanced demand planning and analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge of leading demand planning management principles and solutions preferred.
  • Is a proactive leader, anticipating opportunities and obstacles, possessing critical thinking and leadership with a history of success in intelligently pushing organizations out of comfort zones.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability summarize complex information and drive decision-making.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Creates order, prioritization and clarity of purpose.


EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management of equivalent quantitative discipline required.

  • Corporate headquarters office location with hybrid option.
