This role exists to support and implement the Mission of Magnificat High School. The Director of Enrollment is responsible for for developing, managing and promoting enrollment efforts for Magnificat. The Director will be someone who embraces the school's Mission, values, and history with the ability to effectively communicate these to prospective parents and students. The Director will work with the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing to develop a strategic
communication and marketing plan that will raise the visibility of the school for enrollment.


Reports to: Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing
Classification: Exempt, Full Time- 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Position Summary :
* Works with the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing to develop the school's recruitment and enrollment management strategies and goals
* Develops an annual admissions and recruitment plan to meet the enrollment goals as developed with the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing.
* Builds and fosters relationships with area grade schools and school leadership to engage and recruit students.
* Engages and shares ideas with primary school leadership.
* Directs all recruitment activities that bring potential students into the school. These include, but are not limited to, the 8th and 7th Grade Blue Streak for a Day programs, high school information events, open houses, parent information events, and the placement and scholarship tests.
* Serves as a main point of contact for all prospective families making their way through the enrollment process.
* Collaborates with the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging to diversify our student body by implementing recruitment and enrollment strategies for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) students.
* Collaborates with the Director of Communications to develop admission materials and web site content.
* Represents Magnificat High School for the Association of Catholic Admissions Directors (ACAD). Attends meetings and distributes materials and information to potential students and Catholic elementary schools.
* Reviews all records and evaluates potential students for admission (including transfer students) in conjunction with the Enrollment Committee.
* Maintains past, current, and future enrollment statistics and trend data, including demographics, related to admission, enrollment and financial aid for internal forecasting, reporting, and planning.
* In collaboration with the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing develops the annual admission and recruitment budget.
* Evaluates recruiting and admissions initiatives, provides summaries to school leadership, and makes necessary adjustments to initiatives to ensure admissions and recruiting areas are meeting the strategic objectives.
* Understands and informs the Leadership Team about current research, demographics, and admission and enrollment trends, ensuring that changes and challenges are anticipated, understood, and addressed.
* Responsible for development and execution of the Summer Enrichment Program. Consistently evaluates and adjusts Summer Enrichment programming to meet school's objectives.
* Develops and maintains appropriate internal and external communications to support admission strategies.
* Marketing activities – clarifying institutional image, establishing enrollment targets to meet goals, understanding the school's niche in the marketplace, and integrating marketing and communication efforts.

* In all areas of responsibility work to build a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative community with students, colleagues, parents, and others
* Ability to work extended days, evenings and weekends periodically, as needed

Position qualifications :

Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or other related field.

Work Experience :
* Minimum five years of admissions and enrollment management experience.
* Marketing and marketing data analysis experience is desirable.
* Experience managing staff and budgets is preferred.

* Ability to understand changing market demands and adapt processes accordingly.
* Understands student learning and development with a focus on middle school and high school age students.
* Understands and values diversity, equity, and inclusion as an organizational operating principle and commitment to continue learning on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google programs, Blackbaud and Zoom.
* Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
* Ability to receive directives and work on multiple projects at one time.
* Openness to growth and feedback
* A commitment to confidentiality and good judgment on sensitive matters is essential
* Ability to work extended days, evenings, and weekends periodically, as needed.
