The Role: Business Analyst, EUC (End User Computing)

The Location: Dallas, TX /Remote

The Team: The EUC management team oversees the use of end-user developed tools, and is tasked with the modernization of these processes

The Impact: The Business Analyst will be a critical member of the team. You will work with global teams to understand their workflows and use your understanding of business tools to make them better. You will also work to ensure that tools are built in a sustainable manner, following best practices.

Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst will be required to:

  • Work with index production teams to understand key parts of their processes
  • Translate these requirements into user stories and epics
  • Manage the inventory of EUCs, and ensure completeness of entries
  • Ensure new launch processes are followed according to EUC policy
  • Partner with developers to align their work to requirements
  • Participate in agile meetings as the voice of the end user
  • Work on projects in improve processes

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 Years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of global financial markets
  • Must be able to work independently on multiple projects with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Must have relevant experience in defining projects
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities to solve original, non-routine problems in a timely and insightful manner
  • Superior computer skills in Excel, Word and related applications
  • Programming skills and experience preferably in Python or a similar language such as VBA or R

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in business, math, economics, finance or computer science/MIS strongly preferred
  • Ability to assume responsibility, work with others and manage projects
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate work done by multiple people and / or groups.
  • Experience in Agile
  • Experience with Power Automate
  • Experience with Github

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for additional compensation such as a semi-annual incentive bonus plan.
