As a Level 2 Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the migration of our clients' on-premises Infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for designing cloud architectures, executing migrations, and delivering post-migration support to ensure a smooth transition and optimal cloud performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their on-premises systems and business requirements for migration to Azure.
  • Design Azure cloud architectures and solutions tailored to meet client needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Execute on-premises Infrastructure migrations to Microsoft Azure.
  • Conduct pre-migration assessments and readiness checks to identify potential issues and optimize migration strategies.
  • Provide post-migration support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure successful adoption and operation of Azure services.
  • Develop migration documentation, including diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures for client reference and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with Azure platform advancements and industry best practices to continuously improve migration methodologies and service delivery.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services such as VMs, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), etc.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, etc.) and security best practices in Azure.
  • Experience in conducting migrations from on-premises environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) to Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud migrations and operations.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-300, AZ-301, etc.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Git, etc.).
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation tasks in Azure.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and solutions integrating on-premises and Azure environments.
